I’m lucky to call the beautiful seaside town of Port Macquarie, Australia, home — a place where the ocean meets golden beaches, rugged coastline and wild Australian bushland. It’s a landscape that inspires me every day, from the moody blues of the sea to the colours, textures and beauty of our native flora and wildlife.

I have a rather serious addiction to rescuing old, neglected and forgotten furniture. Give me a tired old piece with a little character and a lot of potential, and I’ll happily imagine all the possibilities! There’s something incredibly rewarding about restoring a piece, revealing its hidden beauty and giving it a new lease on life — ready to be loved for generations to come.

I see beauty in the world around me, and I love finding ways to bring that inspiration into my work and, ultimately, into your home. Every piece has a story, and I believe the best transformations honour that story while giving it a fresh, new chapter.

Away from the paintbrushes and furniture, I wear many hats: mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and, perhaps most importantly, devoted Pug mum (if you know, you know!).

I’m a passionate lover of nature, animals, art, good wine, fabulous food, old music, a great book, rainy days, time with my beautiful family and, whenever life allows, a decent amount of sleep!

At the heart of it all, I believe in kindness above everything else. I care deeply about the world we live in and do my best to tread lightly, making thoughtful, sustainable choices wherever I can. That philosophy flows into my business, too — giving quality furniture a second life, reducing unnecessary waste and celebrating the beauty of what already exists.

For me, Furniture Upcycling ~ Artisan is about more than transforming furniture. It’s about creativity, connection, sustainability and seeing potential where others might see something past its prime.

I can’t wait to see what we can create together.
